Terms of Service

Introduction

Thank you for choosing LM Home Sort for your home organisation needs. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

Services

LM Home Sort offers professional home organisation services, including but not limited to decluttering, organisation, and storage solutions.

Booking Confirmation and Payment

  • To secure your booking, we require a non-refundable 50% deposit. The deposit is due 4 weeks in advance, or if the booking is made within 4 weeks, immediately. The deposit invoice will be sent to your designated billing email address.
  • The booking is only confirmed once a completed booking form and deposit has been received. A booking confirmation email will then be sent to the client.
  • Full payment is due strictly on receipt of final invoice. The final invoice will be sent to your designated billing email address.
  • All payment to be made via BACS.
  • Additional charges may apply for extended hours or additional materials required for the project, as set out in Services page.
  • All fees are non-refundable.

Cancellation and Postponement Policy

At LM Home Sort, we appreciate the demands of modern lifestyles. We make every effort to accommodate our clients’ re-scheduling requirements. Please review the following terms in the event you need to reschedule or cancel a booking:

  • If you reschedule your booking with more than 14 days’ notice, your deposit will be carried over to the new booking date. New booking dates are subject to availability.
  • If you reschedule your booking with less than 14 days’ notice, your deposit will be carried over to the new booking date and you will be charged a £100 administration fee. New booking dates are subject to availability.
  • In the event of rescheduling or cancellation with less than 2 working days before the booking date, the full-service rate, will be applicable.
  • By completing and submitting the booking form, you agree to our terms of service.

Confidentiality

LM Home Sort respects client privacy and will not disclose any confidential information or personal details to third parties. Confidentiality Agreements are available on request.

Efficiency

Our team is committed to providing our clients with the best possible service. The time required to complete a room may vary due to several factors, including the number of items in the space and the pace at which decluttering decisions are made. While we do our utmost to be as efficient as possible, it’s important to note that we prioritise the quality of our work over speed. In some cases, additional time may be necessary to ensure the job is done to the highest standard. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility in this matter, as our goal is to leave you with a beautifully organised and clutter-free space.

Unforeseen Circumstances

While we make every effort to uphold our commitments, there may be unforeseen circumstances, such as, but not limited to, illness, injury, or acts of nature, that could necessitate the cancellation of a booked appointment. In such rare cases, we will make every effort to reschedule at a mutually convenient time. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility in these exceptional situations and assure you that we will do our best to minimise any inconvenience caused.

Liability

  • LM Home Sort will take reasonable care while organising your home, but we are not responsible for any damage to property or personal belongings.
  • Clients are encouraged to secure valuable or fragile items before services begin.

Client Cooperation

  • Clients must provide access to the areas to be organised and be present or reachable during service hours.
  • Clients are responsible for making decisions regarding the decluttering process.

Termination of Services

  • LM Home Sort reserves the right to terminate services at any time for reasons including but not limited to non-payment, safety concerns, or inappropriate behaviour.
  • All intellectual property rights associated with the organising solutions provided remain the property of LM Home Sort.

Photography and Social Media Usage

We may capture before and after photos or videos of the organised spaces with the intention of featuring our work on our social media profiles, website, or promotional materials. If you have specific preferences or concerns regarding the use of such imagery, kindly notify us in advance, and we will diligently honour your requests. Rest assured, we never disclose any client’s personal information within the images. Your privacy is of utmost importance to us.

Changes to Terms

LM Home Sort may update these terms as needed without notice.
