About Liz, Founder of

LM Home Sort

Originally from the Lake District, Saffron Walden has been my home for the past 11 years, where I live with my husband and two children. My background blends creative design with high-level organisation. After graduating with a degree in Printed Textile Design from Loughborough University, I worked as a print designer in New York, before moving into demanding PA roles in London, managing people, offices, complex travel, and the busy personal lives of private families.

As an interiors enthusiast, my passion lies in making houses the absolute best they can be. For me, a beautifully organised home brings genuine peace to family life, and I love bringing that same calm and logical efficiency to my clients.

 

Professional Qualifications

As well as my BA (Hons) degree in Textile Design, I hold a Business Diploma in Professional Decluttering and Organising, which I achieved with a distinction. This qualification complements my practical experience, ensuring the systems my team and I create aren’t just tailored to look good, but are built on proven, efficient methods designed to work for the long term.

Liz from LM Home Sort came to organise my 8 year old son’s bedroom after it became out of control with “stuff”! It was full of old toys that were no longer being played with and it felt so cluttered, as well as impossible to tidy. My house looked organised at first glance, but behind the cupboards it was disaster and always too daunting a task to tackle, so I knew it was time to call in Liz from LM Home Sort. Liz started with my paperwork cupboard that I had lost control on, and was brilliant in identifying the different ways they should be grouped but also simply what needed shredding. I now have a filing system I want to shout about! We then moved on to the children’s toys in the playroom, and after working together deciding what should stay or go, Liz then created a system that kept them both tidy and accessible to the children, using current storage units, meaning I didn’t have to buy new ones. Even the children seem to appreciate it with their ability to find their old favourites with ease!
